Ethics is not only a set of ideas, it is also a practice. Among our practical activities, we sponsor public lectures on topics such as the ethics of food and the environment, the connection between stress and cheating, the benefits and disadvantages of charter schools, and the crisis of mass incarceration that is currently facing our nation, among other topics. Our events are free and open to the public and we invite you to join us. To receive email announcements of our events, email Joan Berry.

In addition to sponsoring talks, panel discussions and conferences, we are involved in ongoing community partnerships. We are very proud of our association with the Hope House Scholars Program and with the Palo Alto Unified School District, to name two of our ongoing efforts. Along with our community partners, our Center explores issues of justice and injustice, tolerance and respect, right and wrong, citizenship and community.

If you are interested in supporting these projects, getting involved, or suggesting a collaboration, email Joan Berry.
