Danaë is a Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science Department’s Human-Computer Interaction Group at Stanford, co-advised by James Landay in Computer Science and Jeff Hancock in Communication. 

Danaë's research focuses on issues of web technologies and bias, including the expression of political opinions online, cognitive and psychological biases in web interfaces, and partisanship in search results. Danaë is also interested in the ethical implications of technology, and has been an instructor for the Computer Science Department’s undergraduate ethics course Computers, Ethics and Public Policy.
