Education

Krystal is a Ph.D. student in the School of Education at Stanford University. Her research focuses on two related areas: First, she studies the moral development of college students, particularly how students’ moral and social commitments evolve as they transition into adulthood. Second, she studies the role of higher education in shaping moral trends in American society and the role of education in morally pluralistic democracies. She is an IES Fellow, a Graduate Fellow in Residence for Branner Hall (Stanford’s public service dorm), and she has her bachelor’s and master’s in social work from North Carolina State University.
