Ethics, Society, & Technology Unconference 2022
Have you ever heard the term ‘unconference’? Unconferences are driven by the interests of participants and sessions are created by attendees throughout the day of the convening. The Ethics, Society, & Technology Hub invites members of the Stanford community to help collectively set the agenda for its first in-person “unconference.” To jumpstart ideas and connections for the day, the convening will begin with a workshop that considers how to evaluate the ethical and societal implications of emerging technologies.
Participants are welcome to come and go from the event as their schedule allows. We recommend attending the morning workshop at 9am to get oriented, meet the other participants, and begin co-creating the agenda for the day. This event is in person--no virtual option will be available and it will not be recorded.
Registration is required. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Learn more.
