Ethics@noon: Donna Hunter (Program in Writing and Rhetoric) "One in a Hundred and the 99 Who are Left"

In 2008, more than 1 in 100 Americans was in jail or prison, which translates into more than three million people behind bars. Even more disturbingly, 1 in 9 African-American males between the ages of 20 and 34 is incarcerated. We'll talk about some of the factors that have led to this historical moment and examine what concrete actions we can take to slow this trend. This is part of our brown bag lunch series.
