Valerie Soon / Political Theory Workshop

I recently completed my PhD in Philosophy at Duke University.  I work in Social and Political Philosophy, Ethics, and Philosophy of Social Science. My research broadly focuses on the normative dimensions of social sorting or segregation. Specifically, I'm interested in the tension between the freedom of association and the right to local control, on the one hand, and the harms of exclusion on the other.
