Abhi Boda

Abhi is a sophomore from Powell, Ohio studying Symbolic Systems and Political Science, with concentrations in Natural Language Processing and Data Science. Driven by a deep commitment to ensuring that emerging technologies uphold democratic values, he is passionate about advancing ethical AI governance. Currently, as a Research Assistant at the Stanford Social Media Lab, Abhi investigates the role of social media bots on users’ perception of racial-ethnic social movements. He is eager to bridge his research background with his passions for technology and policy to innovate ethical, equitable AI systems as a Tech Ethics and Policy Fellow. On campus, Abhi is actively involved with the Asian American Students Association, Democracy Day, and the Pre-Law Society. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, rock climbing, hunting for new books, and drinking coffee.
