Aljon Celis

Aljon (he/him) is a junior from Alabama pursuing a B.S. in Science, Technology, and Society. Prior to transferring to Stanford, he attended community college where he developed an interest in learning deeply about how technology intersects with various aspects of society, specifically in education. His experiences as a first-generation student fueled his passion for improving equity in education and access to technology for underserved communities. His long-term goal is to contribute to positive societal impacts with technology. Outside of the classroom, Aljon enjoys cooking (especially for other people), listening to music, and working on a manuscript.
