Chitra Venugopal
Chitra Venugopal is the director of finance and administration at the McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society. In her role, she oversees the Center's consolidated financial budget, establishes essential controls and policies per university requirements and stewardship priorities, and provides leadership in human resources and operations in close collaboration with the executive director and faculty director. Prior to her current role, Chitra served as the associate director of finance at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d.school), Stanford, where she successfully managed and led the comprehensive financial operations of the Institute. Before her work at the d.school, she gained valuable experience as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston.
Chitra holds a master's degree in Human Resources Management from Temple University, Philadelphia, and a master's degree in Accounting from Bentley University, Boston. Her education has equipped her with a robust foundation in both disciplines, encompassing financial analysis, budget management, employee relations, and the development of sound human resources policies. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking, and hiking with her family.
