Claire Birge

Claire is a sophomore from Maryland majoring in Computer Science with a concentration in Human-Computer Interaction, and minoring in Earth Systems with a focus on Environmental Justice. Growing up so close to Washington D.C., she spent much of her life exposed to the world of politics. She has worked with several tech startups as a software engineer and UI/UX designer where she worked on improving the user experience of their products. This has led to her intersecting technology, policy, and social good interests. She interested in exploring how we can use technology ethically and develop products that create social impact. For fun, Claire likes to play lacrosse on the Stanford Women's Club Lacrosse team, hike, and play guitar.
