Cole Ford

Cole is a junior pursuing a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a Master’s in Symbolic Systems. As a student in the Ethics in Society senior thesis program, his interest in tech policy stems from the interaction of people with political information and the ethics behind how media entities present information to their users, raising interesting questions about the methods in which algorithms distribute information to users and the legal protections afforded to companies. Eventually, Cole wishes to merge his research passion with legal studies of information and their effects on democratic practices and public sentiments.
