Emma Wang

Emma (she/her) is a sophomore from Naperville, IL pursuing a double major in political science and computer science. Through diverse past experiences in conducting AI research, contributing to pro bono work at a law firm, and taking coursework on science and technology policy, she has nurtured a passion for ensuring that citizens have an informed influence on how technology affects their lives. She is also interested in the interaction of policy, implementation, and compliance, and hopes to help facilitate this interaction within the technology policy ecosystem, given the unique challenges that technology presents for policy-making. In her free time, she likes to read, run the Dish, and explore coffee shops.
