Gabriella Zannis
Gabriella Zannis is a sophomore at Stanford University from Eastern North Carolina, planning to double major in Psychology and History.
She is particularly interested in the intersection of developmental psychology and machine learning, with a focus on how human learning and computational learning compare and diverge. She is currently exploring this interest through research in the Social Learning Lab. At Stanford, Gabriella is also involved in the Stanford Pre-Law Society and Stanford Management Group. In addition, she is drawn to the psychology of marketing and decision-making. She hopes to apply her understanding of human behavior to help ensure that emerging AI technologies are used ethically and in ways that support, rather than hinder, learning.
Outside of academics, Gabriella enjoys reading, attempting to learn a new crafty activity (currently watercolor!), performing in musical theater, and seeking out sunrise views with friends.
