Gillyn (she/they) is a Filipina-American, first-generation college graduate from Seaside, California. She graduated from Stanford in 2020, receiving a bachelor's degree in human biology with a concentration in gender, sexuality and mental health in marginalized communities. After graduating from Stanford in 2020, they spent almost two years working as a Residential Counselor for a mental health nonprofit in San Francisco before transitioning back to Stanford and doing student affairs work as a program associate with the Asian American Activities Center on campus. She is excited to be part of the team with the McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society, engage and build connections with students, as well as organize events and student programming.
