Isabella Heffernan

Isabella Heffernan is a senior at Stanford University, from Warwick, Rhode Island. She is majoring in Science, Technology, and Society, with a concentration in Life Sciences and Health, and minoring in Medical Humanities. Passionate about bioethics, she hopes to spend her life promoting supportive engagement within the health system, focusing on themes of delegitimized illness support, patient provider communication, and bioethical legislation. She hopes to build upon these ideas through the McCoy Bioethics Fellowship. 

Outside of academics, Isabella loves calligraphy, creative writing, and Irish tea. She is very excited to be part of this team!
