Placement: European Center for Not-For-Profit Law
Julie is a junior from Seattle, Washington, studying Computer Science and Political Science, with concentrations in artificial intelligence and data science, respectively.
She views fundamental legal principles as actively shaping technology’s meaning, not just reacting to it, and aims to build systems that define shared boundaries and responsibilities. Currently, as a Research Fellow at Princeton and Consumer Reports, Julie investigates how to create operational benchmarks that measure duty of loyalty in AI systems, identifying the components that feed into how current or future AI agentic systems can be deemed “loyal by design.”
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and trying new coffee shops.
