Makenzy Caldwell received her M.Sc. in Social Policy and Social Research from University College London. Her Master’s research explored children’s rights to privacy and autonomy on social media by analyzing ‘sharenting’ content. Prior to attending UCL, she received her B.A. from New York University, where she majored in both Politics and Public Policy. She previously worked as a Research Assistant at NYU’s Center for Social Media and Politics, during which she produced a report tracking and analyzing ongoing technology policy developments. Makenzy is a Technology Ethics and Policy Rising Scholars Program Research Fellow working with both Embedded Ethics and the Ethics in Society Review. Originally from Pennsylvania, she enjoys traveling to new places, having lived in four major cities across two continents thus far, and is always eager to explore a new area. Besides traveling, she enjoys reading fantasy, exercising, and trying new foods.
