Mirabai Herz

Mirabai is fascinated by the intersection of psychology, health, and ethics. At Stanford, she researches how people’s mindsets shape their health and explores ways to implement psychological interventions in medical settings. She is also passionate about understanding polarization and how beliefs evolve. As a longtime member of Stanford’s Ethics and Bioethics Bowl teams, she loves wrestling with tough questions and hearing new perspectives. Outside of academics, she can often be found at the barn with the equestrian team, deep in a book, or somewhere outdoors. She’s excited to learn from and collaborate with the other fellows to tackle the ethical challenges of medicine and science!
