Raiyan is a sophomore at Stanford studying Computer Science with a concentration in Human-Computer Interaction. As a first-generation low-income college student from Dhaka, Bangladesh,  Raiyan is passionate about using technology and technical tools for the social good in society. He is interested in making responsible and inclusive AI technologies to help mitigate climate change and global warming on Earth. Following his mission of working for social good, he worked as a software engineering intern for Stanford Medicine last summer, where he helped build a mobile app to improve research dissemination among medical researchers. As a student on campus, Raiyan is involved with Sustainable Stanford as a Data Analyst for their R&DE team, where he monitors the air quality of Stanford dorms and ways to improve the well-being of the students. You can also see him on campus attending CS for Social Good club meetings, listening to product leaders at speaker events hosted by Product Pathways, and organizing events for the Bangladeshi Students' Association. In his free time, Raiyan enjoys playing chess, listening to Urdu Poetry, and watching his favorite soccer team, Real Madrid.
