Ryan Wang
Ryan is pursuing a PhD in bioengineering at Stanford, advised by Jaimie Henderson and Frank Willett. Ryan is interested in studying cognition and improving clinical approaches to neurological disease. His current research focuses on developing brain-computer interfaces for communication and studying the neuroscience of speech. Ryan graduated from Rice University with a triple major in neuroscience, computer science, and cognitive science. As an undergraduate, he developed ultrasound-based technologies for the noninvasive treatment, study, and diagnosis of brain disease. He also studied sleep outcomes and vaccination patterns in Asian Americans.
