Sean Lester

Sean is a sophomore from Falls Church, Virginia, studying Political Science with concentrations in Data Science and Elections, Representation, and Governance. His passion for tech ethics is rooted in his study of politics and technological change at Stanford, where he worked with the Stanford Democracy Hub and the Hoover Institution analyzing the health of American citizenship. Sean is excited to bring this experience tackling contested political issues to a field that balances the tension between promoting innovation and ensuring technology is developed and used responsibly. Outside of class, he loves listening to music, watching basketball, and is doing his best to learn golf.
