Sheruni Pilapitiya
Sheruni (she/her) is a sophomore from Sri Lanka, majoring in human biology with a minor in medical anthropology. Her concentration is on reproductive healthcare - particularly addressing health inequalities for lower-income women and working to innovate in the medical field to create accessible interventions and amplify female voices. I plan to go on to complete a Master’s in Public Health and then proceed to medical school.
Beyond her academic goals, she is involved in all things music, art, and performance. On campus, she is the publicity manager for Everyday People and the outreach coordinator for AATP. She loves to make music. She looks forward to further immersing herself in conversations around bioethics and continuing to approach healthcare from a multidimensional lens.
