Yared Avalos Iñiguez

Yared is a senior pursuing degrees in Public Policy and Iberian & Latin American Cultures. Originally from Hereford, Texas, Yared is deeply passionate about immigration policy. Since arriving at Stanford, he has interned at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico and in Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia’s office, focusing on community engagement and policy research. Yared actively volunteers at Stanford Law School’s Immigrants’ Rights Clinic, Matriculate, and Habla.
