Matthew Jörke

Matthew is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science. His research is at the intersection of human-computer interaction and machine learning, with an emphasis on studying and designing technology that promotes health and well-being. As part of this work, Matthew has developed tools for technologists and designers to better account for ethical implications and stakeholders' values in the design process. Prior to Stanford, Matthew completed his B.A. in Computer Science and Cognitive Science at UC Berkeley.
