ETHICS IN SOCIETY COOK PRIZE
The Lyle and Olive Cook Prize is bestowed upon the student whose thesis best exemplifies the kind of scholarship the Program seeks to foster.
ROBERT M. GOLDEN MEDAL / FIRESTONE MEDAL
The Program in Ethics in Society also nominates one outstanding thesis for a university-wide Golden or Firestone Medal for Excellence in Undergraduate Research. The Golden Medal is awarded to the top ten percent of honors theses in the Humanities and Creative Arts. The Firestone Medal is awarded to the top ten percent of honors theses in the social sciences, natural sciences, and engineering/applied sciences. In its more than twenty-five year history, the Program has produced numerous recipients of these prestigious awards.
